Proofs in hand

I worked on a super fun project with Alison Klapthor at HarperCollins late last year: the logo for Creature Keepers, a new middle grade series. Book projects are a little funny in that the design work is wrapped up so far in advance of the release, it's a little time warpy when the book finally emerges from the printer. 

Anyway, the first book in the series, Creature Keepers and Hijacked Hydro-Hide, is coming out next month, which means we're finally seeing proofs, and I'm pumped with how they turned out! It's actually kind of weird how I can't stop touching the spot varnish.
